Originally written many years ago, after John Prescott's approval to build 10,000 homes on green belt land, the closure of Barney's, complaints about noise from Molly's and before the council's ridiculous decision to allow a McDonald's to be built in Nightingale Road. Found some years later, I added another verse to express my anger at the greedy developers who are currently ruining our town, and the idiots at the council who allow it to happen.
